Artist's Comments

This is the jail building at Fort Union in New Mexico. This Fort was established to protect travelers along the Santa Fe Trail, heading out west to seek their fortunes. (And native populations to screw over...but hey, that is just my view...lol) It was nice enough to wait to start raining on me until I got back to the car. :D

Enjoy!

Lucked out with the weather on that one...
It's a great composition, with just a portion of the fort in a section of the shot...the lighting worked out real well for you, too. I know alot of photographers like shooting in cloudy conditions right before a storm, it makes the lighting and half tones more intense, almost like sunshine but without the glare.

It looks great!

...'Er, who,' said Arthur, 'is Eddy, then...?'
Ford looked angrily at him. 'Will you listen?' he snapped. 'I have been listening,' said Arthur, 'but I'm not sure it's helped'..."

Lovely shot... Hmm how come whenever I go there or see any pictures of this Fort it's always about to storm?
